This was a great challenge.
"Shoot the car without the car.
Oh wait...there is a foam model without an interior. It's at GM Design. There's a 1 hour meeting on Thursday. You can see it then.
Now, go shoot the car."
We explored inside the LA zone for this one. Finding great environments and shooting backplates of an unnamed-stand-in-competitor-vehicle-that-was-the-closest-thing-in-shape-for-reference.
All images were shot at ultra-high resolution. Which enables my clients to use the same asset to feature a tack-sharp full size Blazer on a billboard in Times Square, or extreme ratio crops for unique digital placements.
The CGI was expertly rendered and retouched by Curve out of their newly formed LA office.
Also, since we shut down a freeway, I made the below video. Yep.
