Saab fans are a loyal and passionate group. McCann Erickson wanted to tap into this energy, harness their enthusiasm and empower them to speak for the brand. By leveraging the capabilities of Facebook, we created an app that allows Saab drivers to take an active role in creating the brand voice.

Ever expanding gallery of user-generated baner ads. The best are featured as real Saab ads across the internet, and have realized a click-through rate at 5x the automotive industry average.

The app automatically scrapes profile pic and some info, users do the rest.
Facebook wall post that is shared with friends, inviting them to create their own banner and visit the gallery microsite.
